Helsinki Citizens Assembly reports:

On March 9, at about 02:00 a.m, some people tried to arson the mill in Odzun village of Lori region, which belonged to Yezek Aghvanyan. According to the owner the damage would make from 800000 to one million AMD. Yezek Aghvanyan was a head of pre-election campaign office of Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

According to Y. Aghvanyan, he managed to involve about 16 people from six villages around Odzun as proxies of Levon Ter-Petrosyan. He says that the proxies were brought to police after March 2 and according to one of them they were asked: “Are you anti? (Հակա ե՞ս)” (These terms were used during totalitarianism of Stalin times). Yezek Aghvanyan informed that two of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s supporters were deprived of gas. One of them had debts.. After he paid, he was asked again to pay for March too, and then they would switch on the gas. The second person did not have any debt... At all.
