A couple posts on LiveJournal.

There is a vibrant blogger community on LiveJournal. The majority of the posts are in Russian which somewhat limits their audience. From time to time there are interesting and short posts that I think can be disseminated through the English language blogosphere without spending too much time on translating.

1. David Sand: About the New Government.

I would call it boring. It is boring not because the appointed ministers are unknown, but because they are unknown due to their their mediocrity. I've interacted with at least two of them as part of business and I can say that they are ordinary civil servants, educated, well-trained to obey orders without discussion and objections; they are not able to assume responsibility, without any initiative, totally without any political principles. Approximately the same kind of personnel policy as the "government of professionals" which Levon Ter-Petrosyan formed after his failed election. After a while, the "professionals" were removed and left only those who could generate an upward flow of money to the top.

2. Narjan: I'm Aghast.

Psychologists, where you are? I think the time has come for us to add a new category to the group that includes visual, hearing and sensory thinking: the new category called «Փայատիրական».

P.S. No wonder that a TV audience member from Uryupinska (Uryupinsk (c) Zloyan) asked SS the following question:

Ճի՞շտ է, որ դուք բոլոր բիզնեսներում փայ ունեք: (Is it true that you have a share in every business in Armenia?)

Sometimes our nation grasps the reality well.
