Not so Kafkaesque.
A man voices his support for the opposition candidate. A day or so after that he and his handicapped brother are traveling in a car. The police stop them. While arresting them, the police accidentally open fire.
Now the handicapped person is on trial for not stopping the car after being ordered to do so and damaging a policeman's uniform while getting out of the car. more here

It sounds more out of "Good soldier Shvejk". Unfortunatly it is the Armenian reality.
By the way the policemen who stopped the car were in masks and there were no identifications on them to demonstrate that they were policemen.
They tried to provoke a shoot out by their 'accidental fire' because they very well knew that there were guns in the car. All the guns were legal and registered.
The main aim of the police was to hit two bird in one stone. a) kill Jhangirian as he knows many things re October 27th, and b) to create the impression as if the Movement is taking the country into the civil war path.
This failed and as a result we had March the 1st.
Hell isn't a nice enough place for Jhangiryan. Don't know much about his brother. As military prosecutor this disgusting animal sealed the fate of so many soldiers who were charged with suicide and the like.
