"Presents should be a surprise. Nevertheless, as I have wedded my only son this year, I want to ask Santa Claus to give me a grandson in 2010 who will serve in the Armenian army and take an active part in the establishment of the Armenian statehood", Abrahamyan said. Yeah, I was surprised to hear him assess his own IQ. I think he was trying to diss a few of his opponents but as is usual with the banditocracy, he came out looking like an idiot.
Come on guys, be fair. When countries, or any large organization for that matter, are run by oligarchs and their families, feudal lords, and Families, it is only natural that seeing the line continue, especially when there is only one child, brings a special joy, and relief.
Is there a term for a state run by a mafia? We coined the term "banditocracy" but I think Armenia is more like organized crime than random banditry.
Time for a laugh--Armenia elections are always such a downer: All lookalikes, all the time :) http://ow.ly/V6EcLlama is my favorite, but Charlemagne runs a close second...
