I like their and in general teh north renaissance paintings. They present the lives of that period and it is interesting to see how people dressed and in what activities they were involved. It is also amazing to see the mistakes in the paintings. Pretty cool.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any of his famous works in person.

nice post! this picture has been used in A. Tarkovsky's film Solyaris too.

Hakob, I remember it :) This painting, and the Branderburg Concerto playing, added a nice touch to the film.
