I like their and in general teh north renaissance paintings. They present the lives of that period and it is interesting to see how people dressed and in what activities they were involved. It is also amazing to see the mistakes in the paintings. Pretty cool.

So I'm not the only one who prefers the Northern European artists over the Italian masters :)
There is always so much to see and discover in Bruegel's paintings with all their details!
Unfortunately I haven't seen any of his famous works in person.
nice post! this picture has been used in A. Tarkovsky's film Solyaris too.
Hakob, I remember it :) This painting, and the Branderburg Concerto playing, added a nice touch to the film.
