Turks Advertising on Google.
Lately I have noticed that the Turkish Americans have been advertising on Google. Their ads even show up on this blog on the right hand band.
I encourage the readers to click on their ads and get a sense of what they are doing nowadays. They seem to be quite active.

Why these things don't work so well: Turks and Caicos Islands advertisement.
Apparently, there's a peace proposal in there though: "Date Sexy Turks" AND "Sexy Armenian Girls." You rule, Google AdWords!
I haven't seen the 'Date sexy Turks' ad. I don't know what keywords are used - I highly doubt that the key word is 'Armenia' or 'Armenian'.
The other one ('Learn Armenian Atrocities' ad) actually makes sense even though I doubt that the readers of this blog would agree, or change their minds to agree, with the point they are trying to make.
I perhaps should have said 'feed nazarian, visit Turks' but the Adsense revenues are miniscule :) In the aggregate they might affect Google revenues, though, if you are a Google shareholder (I'm not).
I see the "Learn Armenian Atrocities" ad all the time in Google Mail. Do you get paid for click-throughs, because we could all pretend to be interested in Sexy Armenian Girls if it would earn you some cash :)
P.S.--I'd pretend, but maybe some other readers wouldn't....
The Adsense click thrus range from 1c up to 15c. Google gets a much larger cut out of click thrus. All that money comes out of the advertiser's pocket.

Hope that made you 15 cents!
The next one is "Buy Turkish Pistachios"--guess I'll go see, such a learning experience!
