Colossi Castle in Cyprus. It was built in the 13-th century by the crusaders. At some point it was used by the rulers of Cilicia - the Lusignans.

I always thought that horses never lied down, and I was surprised to see this one chilling in the field.
I believe this photo was taken near the village of Lermontovo, Lori Region, Armenia.

Fast food joints at Aparan mountain pass. This is approximately halfway between Spitak and Aparan towns, at the bottom of the mountain pass.
It's been a pit stop for travellers as long as I can remember. The blue smoke you see is from the barbeque grills. I'm not sure how good the khorovadz (grilled meat) is nowadays.
If anyone has had the food from here, please comment.

Mosaic in Curium, Cyprus. It dates at about 300 AD or so.
This mosaic appears on the 1 Pound note which, unfortunately, will soon (in a few years) be replaced by Euro notes.

Yerevan Demo Feb 28, 2006.
This is a photo of a guy holding a poster during the recent demonstration in Yerevan commemorating the 1988 Sumgait pogroms by the Azerbaijanis.
The poster says 'Yes Turkeri Meruh' which roughly translates to 'Your Momma...' and is directed to the Turks.

WW2 memorial in the Victory Park, Yerevan, Armenia.
These are the names of some of the Armenian soldiers who became Heroes of The Soviet Union for their courage during the fight against the Nazis. The left side has their names in Armenian, the right side is in Russian. There are quite a few of these khachkar inspired memorials in Haghtanak Zbosaygi. And they all face Ararat.
