Molokans are a an ethnic minority in Armenia. They live in small villages in Northern Armenia.
The young do not mind having their photos taken. The elderly hide their faces. I think it has to do with their religious beliefs - they belong to two different sects in Russian Orthodox religion. One is more strict and the other one is more liberal and welcomes progress.

Hay collection in Lori mountains, Armenia.
The farmers have their own plots of land called khot-hark where wild grasses grow. Every autumn they mow the grass and once it dries up, they collect them into these bales. It is crucial that it doesn't rain during this process otherwise the grass rots and there's nothing to feed their livestock that winter.
